چکیده
During the production of open-pit mines, stability slopes can be affected by various factors such as structural surfaces, blasting vibrations, and mining areas. In this study, researchers focused on slope mine at Yinshan employed UAV mapping technology to conduct an on-site geological engineering investigation. Information yield, trace length, spacing, density surface south was obtained. The also carried out vibration tests in combination with activities determine attenuation law whether speed met safety specifications. Additionally, numerical simulation methods were used examine influence area current designed excavation slope. evaluated using limit equilibrium method, separately discussed self-weight load plus force high open pit. results showed following: (1) rock mass plane mainly dominated a medium-large dip plane, three faults joint fissures investigation combined form cutting sliding surfaces that prone collapse sliding. (2) maximum requirements. (3) There no large range plastic zone damage entire slope, overall good. (4) present relatively stable when considering only stress force. However, there certain risk instability design

Determination of the largest pit with the non-negative net profit in the open pit mines
The determination of the Ultimate Pit Limit (UPL) is the first step in the open pit mine planning process. In this stage that parts of the mineral deposit that are economic to mine are determined. There are several mathematical, heuristic and meta-heuristic algorithms to determine UPL. The optimization criterion in these algorithms is maximization of the total profit whilst satisfying...
متن کاملMonitoring systems for warning impending failures in slopes and open pit mines
Slope stability is a critical safety and production issue for mining. Major wall failure can occur seemingly without any visual warning, causing loss of lives, damage to equipment, and disruption to the mining process. Monitoring systems, ranging from simple piezometers and extensometers to highly sophisticated radars and global navigation satellite systems, are employed to predict impending in...
متن کاملThe effect of price changes on optimum cut-off grade of different open-pit mines
Maximizing economic earnings is the most common goal in cut-off grade optimization of open-pit mining operations. When this is the case, the price of the product has a critical effect on optimum value of cut-off grade. This paper investigates the relationship between optimum cut-off grade and price to maximize total cash flow and net percent value (NPV) of operation. In order to visualize this ...
متن کاملEffects of geometrical and geomechanical properties on slope stability of open-pit mines using 2D and 3D finite difference methods
Slope stability analysis is one of the most important problems in mining and geotechnical engineering. Ignoring the importance of these problems can lead to significant losses. Selecting an appropriate method to analyze the slope stability requires a proper understanding of how different factors influence the outputs of the analyses. This paper evaluates the effects of considering the real geom...
متن کاملAn Approach to Locate an in Pit Crusher in Open Pit Mines
Transportation costs are a significant part of capital and operating costs of large open pit mines. Cost efficiency and high reliability of in pit crushing and conveying systems compared to conventional truck-shovel system makes it more appealing to be utilized in modern mining activities. In this paper the suitable location of an in pit crusher is investigated as a single hub location problem....
